Tammy is an LCMHC in New Hampshire and a LMHC in Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in Manchester in 2005 and her Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2010 from Capella University. During her completion of education, she completed an internship at Team Coordinating Agency as an intern clinician where she ran groups and did individual therapy with children, adolescents and adults.
After her Graduate degree, Tammy worked as an Outpatient Clinical at NFI where she did individual therapy, group therapy and worked with federal inmates on their transition back into the community. She carried a caseload of children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. She also started supervising Interns at the agency from various colleges.
Tammy uses a variety of treatment techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical- Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Nutritional-Based and Reality-Based therapies.
Tammy specializes in working with substance abuse individuals, dual diagnoses, individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizoaffective disorder and nutritional-goal- oriented individuals.
