Ms. Birdsall provides mental health evaluations and medication management services for mid-late adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. She is experienced treating a range of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, sleep disorders and ADHD. In her clinical experience, she has developed particular interests in perinatal and postpartum mental health and the role of nutrition and exercise in mental health.
Stephanie Birdsall obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University in 2012. Prior to her nursing career, Ms. Birdsall obtained a Master of Social Work degree from University of Alaska Anchorage (2006) and spent several years working as a clinical social worker.
Ms. Birdsall is licensed in the state of Maine as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She is DEA-licensed to prescribe medication.
