Sara Robinson, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC is a board certified ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Sara is joining the Lifestance Health team as a part-time clinician. She works full-time at the University of New Hampshire in the nursing department, where she is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Sara obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Boston College. While in the Boston area, Sara worked as a Registered Nurse at McLean Hospital, working in several residential treatment programs with specialized, evidence-based treatment protocols for patients with various psychiatric disorders. Upon completing her degree at Boston College, Sara returned “home” to New Hampshire and has been working primarily in the community mental health center setting, collaborating with members of the treatment team to serve patients in the Seacoast, New Hampshire area. Sara enjoys treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, offering patient-centered care and utilizing medications when appropriate to treat individuals to improve their quality of life. Sara is passionate about educating her patients as well, and working with patients to approach treatment as a team to ensure patients understand the plan of care and feel confident.
In addition to her work educating future PMHNPs and treating patients, Sara sits on the editorial board of a national, peer-reviewed psychiatric publication.
