Dr. Taylor received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She went on to earn her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental-Clinical Psychology from the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship training program at Westchester Jewish Community Services in Yonkers, New York, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship with Maine Child Psychology in Bangor, Maine. She was working in independent practice in rural Maine prior to joining The Counseling Center of Nashua in 2018.
Across settings, Dr. Taylor has provided outpatient treatment, assessment services, and consultation to individuals and families from early childhood through adulthood with diverse backgrounds. Dr. Taylor specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as incorporating other evidence-based approaches such as dialectical-behavior therapy skills. She has extensive experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to help identify problems in learning, attention, development, behavior, and emotion regulation. She has consulted with various types of agencies, including early childhood programs, schools, and vocational training programs, regarding child development and mental health.
