Dr. Baer has been at Psychodiagnostic Services of Southern Maine since 2006, where she started as a postdoctoral intern and has remained on staff as a licensed psychologist. She has experience in conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults to assess for various emotional and neurocognitive challenges including, but not limited to, Intellectual Disability, Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, memory decline/dementia, and anxiety, mood, personality, psychotic, and trauma-related disturbances. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Middlebury College in 1999. She then pursued graduate work at Baylor University where she obtained both a Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. As a part of her graduate training, she completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Junction, Vermont, where she conducted individual and group therapy with veterans, individual counseling with college and graduate students in collaboration with Dartmouth College, and emotional/personality and neurocognitive assessments with veterans.
