Katheryne Molyet is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for the state of New Hampshire. She graduated from Wheelock College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. In 2016 she graduated from the Advanced Standing Program at Boston University’s School of Social Work, with a certification in trauma informed care.
Following graduation, she began working for Arbour HRI Hospital in Boston Massachusetts. In this position, Katheryne performed group therapy with adults on several partial hospitalization programs. She facilitated groups on topics such as skill building and psychoeducation, relapse prevention, trauma and recovery, and gender and sexuality. Katheryne then worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center providing case management and supportive counseling, establishing safety planning, and collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams regarding patient discharge and aftercare. Prior to joining Life Stance, Katheryne worked for Seacoast Mental Health Center in Portsmouth New Hampshire, completing bio psychosocial assessments on adults, adolescents, and children in order to connect them with outpatient providers that would best meet their needs.
Katheryne is passionate about empowering clients to not just merely survive but thrive amid the adversity and stress individuals may experience throughout the lifetime. She is devoted to providing culturally competent care. Her therapeutic style draws from her certification in trauma informed care, as well as training in CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing therapies. Katheryne is trained to work with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, sleeping issues, ADHD, PTSD, women’s issues, marijuana dependence, LGBTQ+ issues, among others.
