Jill Pearl earned her bachelor’s degree from UNH in French and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rivier University. She is a licensed mental health counselor (LCMHC) in the state of New Hampshire. Jill completed her master’s internship in Haverhill, MA at Team Coordinating Agency working with substance abuse clients on an outpatient level. Upon graduation, Jill worked doing individual counseling with chronically and persistently mentally ill adults at a community mental health center before working in a private practice doing individual counseling with children, adolescents and adults. Most recently Jill worked with adolescents and adults in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for eating disorders at Reflections at Parkland Medical Center. Jill provided individual and group counseling as well as case management.
Jill has experience doing group and individual counseling. She has experience facilitating groups in anger management, CBT, DBT, body image and coping skills. She uses a supportive, collaborative and strength-based perspective while incorporating treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, positive psychology, person centered therapy and mindfulness. Jill has experience working with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, life transitions, self-esteem, school issues, parenting, stress, grief, anger and women’s issues. Jill is passionate about creating a supportive, safe, non- judgmental and welcoming therapeutic environment for her clients.
