Heidi has been involved with Psychiatric Nursing in various roles since 2005, having worked in such settings as an inpatient adolescent unit as a medication and charge nurse. She’s done psychiatric nursing in an outpatient pediatric setting, as well as in residential-educational adolescent settings. She has had experience assessing and treating many different types of mental health issues and diagnoses occurring in the adolescent population in which she has specialized. Heidi has served on the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health., as well as serving as the Vice Chair of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Content Expert Panel for psychiatric RNs.
