Ms. Dumont obtained a B.S. in Nursing, a B.A. in psychology, and a M.N. in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Washington in Seattle. In addition to her clinical training, Ms. Dumont also worked conducting research in Clinical Psychology and Nursing at the University of Washington.
Ms. Dumont is licensed in New Hampshire to practice as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and provides outpatient psychopharmacology and psychotherapy at The Counseling Center. She is certified as an Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the DEA.
Ms. Dumont practices psychiatric nursing with patients aged 18 and older, including the psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment and management of broad spectrum mental health conditions, with specialty interests in depression, anxiety, and attention deficits. Ms. Dumont ascribes to an ""evidence based"" approach to her practice and has a substantive interest in the psychological impact of women's developmental and reproductive events on mental health.
