My training and experience has led me to view mental health, physical health, and general wellness as interconnected. I work with people from a holistic perspective, helping them work to achieve the lives they want and deserve”. Ben is trained in and utilizes several treatment modalities, including Cognitive behavior therapy, Motivational interviewing, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Ben is a long time mindfulness practitioner, and draws on his 28 years of mindfulness practice to be fully present and attentive in the moment. In addition to this, he teaches clients practical mindfulness skills for use in their work to achieve the life they want. Some people really connect with mindfulness; if they do, we explore it further in individual sessions. If they don't, we move on to other skills to find what works best for them and helps them the most.
Ben is passionate about working in the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. ""Everyone deserves to have a fulfilling life and sense of contentment. To to be able to work with people striving for this is truly a privilege.
