Audrey is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the state of New Hampshire. She has been working in the mental health field since 2014. She has a BA in Humanities and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Plymouth State University. Audrey also has a graduate level certificate in play therapy from Plymouth State. During her time in graduate school, she interned on the Assertive Community Treatment team at Lakes Region Mental Health and at Ashland Play Therapy, a private practice.
Her career has been in community mental health agencies across the state. Audrey has worked as an Assertive Community Treatment team therapist, child and family therapist, crisis counselor, provided family therapy and has done supervision for child and family therapists. As a result, she has worked with a wide variety of ages, diagnoses, family systems, developmental needs and income levels. She has supported parents in working with their child's needs as well as the area of parent/child interactions. Audrey has also provided supervision to others around play therapy for trauma issues.
In her work, Audrey uses a wide variety of therapeutic techniques, evidenced based practices, and skills. DBT, CBT, MATCH, TF-CBT, child centered play therapy, and solution focused therapy are some of the techniques she has in her repertoire.
