Ashley Ferm is a LCMHC practicing in New Hampshire. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education and Counseling from Wheelock College in Boston, MA completed in 2014 and her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College in Lawrence, MA in 2016. While completing her education, she completed an internship at Arbour Counseling Service in Lawrence, MA where she worked with children, teens, and adults.
Upon graduating with her MEd, Ashley began working as an outpatient child and family therapist with a community mental health center. Ashley provided individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy while at the community mental health center. During this time Ashley was also working closely with various school districts and working closely with schools to best support the clients. She carried a case load of children, adolescents, and young adults as well as family work. Ashely has a high comfort level and competence working with children and adolescents who have emotional and behavioral challenges. She is able to provide trauma-informed therapy to those whose clinical needs require this.
Ashley uses a variety of treatment techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Person-Centered, Family Therapy, and Insight-Oriented Psychotherapy. Ashley utilizes a cooperative and collaborative method of treatment as to assure to get the most out of treatment.
