Rachel Orr, Psy.D.

Dr. Rachel Orr has been a long-time resident of New Hampshire and graduated summa
cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of New Hampshire. She
earned her graduate degrees, a Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD),
in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore.
Dr. Orr specializes in providing neuropsychological assessments across the lifespan to
children, adolescents, and adults. While in graduate school, she trained at Kennedy
Krieger Institute in the Oncology and Epilepsy Clinics, and at Johns Hopkins School of
Medicine in the Outpatient NeuroRehabilitation Program. She then moved back to New
Hampshire and completed her internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System with a
focus in neuropsychology, rehabilitative interventions, and geriatrics. Most recently, Dr. Orr
obtained training in a clinical neuropschology fellowship with Harvard Partners Consortium.
During her fellowship, Dr. Orr conducted neuropsychological assessments at the
Psychology Assessment Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and for the Division of
Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Among her many achievements, she completed her oral and written clinical competencies
"with distinction" and was awarded the Graduate Medal for Achievement Excellence in
Psychology from her university. She is an adjunct professor at the University of New
Hampshire and has also been a lead or contributing author for several professional journal
articles and a book chapter.
Dr. Orr provides neuropsychological testing services at the Counseling Center to children,
adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of difficulties, including developmental, learning,
medical, and neurological problems.
