Dr. Cochrane earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and psychology from Allegheny College and her master's and doctoral degrees from Antioch University New England. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship in the neuropsychology department at the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania. In addition to her work as an integral member of the neuropsychology team, she also consulted with the geriatric and hospice units and spent time conducting inpatient psychiatric evaluations. Dr. Cochrane then spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow in neuropsychology at The Counseling Center of Nashua, where she provided comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and supervision of doctoral Psychology interns. Dr. Cochrane also has experience conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations in community mental health settings and hospital settings.
Currently, Dr. Cochrane's expertise lies in neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations who present with: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, psychiatric illness, learning difficulties, nonverbal learning disorders, traumatic brain injury and concussion, dementia, memory problems, cerebrovascular accident, demyelinating conditions, and tumors. Dr. Cochrane also has experience in utilizing cognitive rehabilitation techniques to assist with memory, attention, and executive functioning deficits. Dr. Cochrane is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
