Dr. Bette Lewicke is licensed as a psychologist in the state of New Hampshire. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Lewicke received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Connecticut, where she did basic research in the area of cortical visual processes. After a number of years working in basic research on the brain and teaching psychology at Brandeis University and Rivier College, she re-specialized in clinical psychology. Dr. Lewicke completed an internship at Nashua Brookside Hospital and a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, MA, where she was trained in the "process approach" to neuropsychological assessment developed by Edith Kaplan, Ph.D.

Dr. Lewicke was licensed as a psychologist in the state of New Hampshire in 1996. She has provided assessment and therapy services at South Bay Mental Health and the Center for Family Services in Lowell, MA, and assessment services at Merrimack Valley Counseling in Nashua, R. Berke and Associates in Amherst, NH, and Angel R. Martinez Professional .Association in Manchester, NH. Dr. Lewicke was Director of Research for the Traumatic Brain Injury Transition Project of the Statewide Head Injury Program (SHIP) in Boston, MA. Dr. Lewicke has also worked as a School Psychologist and Psychology Department Coordinator at the Crotched Mountain School and as Staff Neuropsychologist for the Brain Injury Center and Outpatient Clinic at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield, NH. More recently, Dr. Lewicke worked as a Neuropsychologist at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH, where she worked closely with providers in Neurology, Primary Care, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Lewicke is affiliated with the American Psychological Association (APA), the Clinical Neuropsychology Division of the APA, and the New Hampshire Psychological Association (NHPA). She was named a Fellow of NHPA for her work as Chair of the Continuing Education committee and has served as a member of the NHPA Board of Directors.

Dr. Lewicke is active as a volunteer providing disaster mental health services through the NH American Red Cross, the Disaster Behavior Health Response Team (DBHRT), the Greater Monadnock Medical Reserve Corps (GMMRC), and the Disaster Response Network of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Lewicke received a commendation from New Hampshire Governor John Lynch in 2006 for her work in the New Hampshire floods.
